The Bard Phasix™ 1190400 is a sterile, single-use, fully resorbable hernia mesh in a rectangular configuration measuring 20.3 × 25.4 cm (8 × 10 in). Constructed from monofilament poly-4-hydroxybutyrate (P4HB), it provides a temporary scaffold for reinforcement of weakened soft tissue, including in the repair of hernias and other fascial defects. The mesh must not be placed in direct contact with bowel or viscera and is not intended for repairs requiring permanent wound or organ support from the mesh. Use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
