The Bard Ventralex™ ST 5950007 is a sterile, single-use hernia patch in a small circular configuration measuring 4.3 cm (1.7 in) in diameter. It features a polypropylene positioning strap, SorbaFlex™ Memory Technology, and permanent polypropylene mesh paired with a resorbable hydrogel barrier incorporating Sepra® Technology. Designed for open hernia repair, the patch is intended to reinforce weakened soft tissue, including hernia defects and deficiencies caused by trocars.
